Martin Meredith urges us all to adopt the Malone bugtracker (part of Ubuntu’ Launchpad platform) as it is the best thing since sliced bread.
I, for one, would love to see Malone be used by all distros it really brings some good features to the table – however this requires that Mark give us the source code for Launchpad. Nobody I know wants to have their bugtracking and translation handled by software that’s closed source.
I have yet to hear a statement from the Ubuntu management on an eventual release of the launchpad source but I have hopes that they will consider it for the common good.
Oh and Martin, the best thing since sliced bread is of course Fedora not Malone even though it ranks highly 🙂
